1. For 4 beautiful and healthy children! I am so thankful that my pregnancy, even with complications, was able to make it to 35 weeks and 5 days. When I hear and watch shows about how many things could of gone wrong it really hits home to being truly grateful to God!
2. Fantastic and caring friends! I was only able to make it that far because I had terrific friends helping me during bed rest. I had friends cleaning my house, cooking my family dinner, taking my older boys on play dates, going grocery shopping for me, taking me to appointments, calling me, etc. We are truly blessed with precious friends!
3. A WONDERFUL husband. My entire pregnancy from beginning to end was incredibly tough. I was teaching during the first 6 months. While I didn't have morning sickness, I was incredibly tired. Working all day and coming home to two boys and trying to cook dinner and keep a somewhat clean house was tough. Troy was incredible! When I was on bed rest I kept feeling guilty for how much he was having to do. Then when I was in the hospital for 7 days to try to make it a little longer he came with the boys and visited every day! Now that the girls are here he doesn't hesitate to step in and take over when I am exhausted. He will keep all 4 and even do bath and bedtime all by himself!!!!! He is amazing and wonderful dad. The girls just grin so big when they see their daddy!
4. Staying home with the girls. After teaching 11 years (with a 3 year break in the middle) I have the opportunity to stay home with the girls. I know it will be rough for us but it will be so worth it in the end!
5. Fabulous family! We have an amazing family! We got to spend Thanksgiving with Troy's mom's side pf the family at the Ranch. One of our favorite places to go. The boys just love it because they can just GO!! It was our first big trip with the girls and boy did we need to take a lot. We borrowed our friends covered trailer to take everything!! Thanks Cerice! What made the trip easier is how much everyone offered to help feed and hold the babies. We were lucky that they slept so well too!. It was a big effort on our part to make the trip and we were glad we did. Here is a group shot of everyone there! You can see more info on Sistercreek Ranch at http://www.sistercreekranch.com/
