4th of July....Welcome home SPC Adam Huckstep

I don't know a better way to celebrate our Independence day then by welcoming home a soldier that has been serving in Iraq since October 2009 today. We had planned on making welcome home signs this morning but we found out that he was coming home earlier than planned so we had to rush up there with just our flags. We waited for him to come and you couldn't help but get teary eyed as you saw all the neighbors line up along the street to honor him as the fire trucks with sirens and lights going and veterans on their motorcycles escorted him home!! The best part was when we were getting in the car and Hunter said "I will remember that forever."
Welcome home SPC Huckstep and Thank you!!!!!
If you would like to know more about the organization his mother started to support military families go to Military Moms of Texas

Weeping looking at these pictures. :)

God bless America and all who've served her so bravely...especially Serviceman Huckstep. I daresay Hunter WILL remember that forever. Pretty sure I will. Thank you, and Happy Fourth!

Great pictures! I bought dresses for my girls for next year from Cracker Barrel that are almost identical to the ones your girls are in this year! So cute! Stopping by from Multiples & More...Happy 4th!
