First Day of Mother's Day Out!

Last spring when I registered the girls for MDO, I can tell you I was so nervous on how they would act. Dropping them off at the church nursery had gotten better but wasn't fabulous. But this summer we did Vacation Bible School and they did great by the end of the week. So I felt like they would be OK and they were TERRIFIC!!!! Berkeley, who is Momma's girl was so sweet to the other kids who were crying. She tried to hug them to make them feel better. They have not cried once when dropping them off. They love to wear their backpacks and sleep on their "pillows" known to you and I as mats. And YES somehow they get 10 2 year olds to sleep on a mat, even day one! The girls tell me what they do when they get home. Berkeley lets me know she can't take "Goggy" her beloved bulldog on the playground but he waits for on the table for her to come back. So sweet! I so love that they are enjoying it because I am so enjoying my first opportunity in 12 years to have time to myself. I enjoy talking on the phone and no one is following me crying, watching one of MY shows that can't be watched when others are around, folding the laundry and actually putting it away before it gets thrown on the floor, and just having a little ME time!!!
