Last week we made the trek out to Elgin with another mom of identical twin boys and her next door neighbor and her two boys. It is the first trip we have gone on that was not close to home. Wasn't too sure how the girls would do. I hoped for the best and expected the worst. Luckily it went really well. The were great listeners except for one time they went in two different directions when my horse lover, Zoey, insisted on going and petting a horse way far away from where we were. We got to feed the Llama, pet the horse, Goober, see chickens, a pig, donkey and a goat. Berkeley was very upset because she couldn't get INSIDE the pen. She eventually got over it and pet them through the fence if her little hand would reach them. The girls got to color mini pumpkins, go on a hay ride. It wasn't such a good idea to wear skirts. The girls did not like the hay on their legs. They of course had to love all over the basset hound that was there too. Overall it was a good experience.
