8 Month old Twincesses!

Another month already??? Where does the time go? Seriously! Well we have our nights back, for the most part. Teething sure was rough around here. Right now both girls have their two bottom teeth and are not fussy, they are sleeping at night and during their naps, and they aren't devouring their fingers at every moment! At least a little break before more start coming. Here are some of the things our 8 month old twincesses are doing. Thanks Lori for the adorable onsies! This last month has been spent at the baseball fields. We call them the Ballpark Princesses. :o) They do really well even at our late 7:45 games.
Berkeley

  • Weighs a TON! Not sure how much but our backs tell us A LOT! :o) I am guessing 22 pounds.
  • Has two bottom teeth
  • Loves to play with her feet when laying down
  • Rolls all over her bed before she goes to sleep and when she wakes up
  • Likes to sit and play with her toys
  • Scoots sometimes backwards when playing (moves mostly in bed) I guess she forgets she can do it when she isn't in her bed.
  • Likes to take her sister's toys
  • Hair has really been coming in. Looks brownish but in the light or sun looks very blond. Who knows?!?!
  • Loves to take a bath and tries to grab the bubbles and cries when you take her out
  • Rolls front to back and back to front
  • Loves to go on walks and swing in the swing in the front yard
  • Loves to eat REAL people food. She hasn't turned down anything so far!!! She has eaten cooked carrots, potatoes, mashed potatoes, bananas, pot roast, BBQ chicken, bread, green beans, and Cheerios. We call her Mikey!!! Mikey will eat it!

Zoey

  • Has two bottom teeth
  • Sits up only when she wants to or is distracted. She likes to stiffen her body when you want her to sit. She prefers to stand.
  • If you hold her hands above her head she will walk one foot in front of the other.
  • She only rolls belly to back. She hasn't rolled once the other way.
  • HATES real people food (except bananas) She will lock her lips and you can't pry them open. And if you are lucky enough to get it in, it comes right back out. This is what my older two did at the age and were very picky eaters off and on. Mainly due to texture.
  • Loves to take a bath and splash and tries to grab the bubbles.
  • Started trying to scoot forward but real uncoordinated like.
  • Hair is slowly coming in. Still has less than Berkeley.
  • Loves to swing and go on walks.
  • When she laughs or smiles she squinches her nose
  • Started liking Baby Einstein videos. YEAH!!!
