We spent our time laying by and in the pool, talking, boating, eating, talking, eating, drinking, more eating, reading, and some more talking. These are the same friends that I did a post on one Favorite Photo Friday see here after my 20 year reunion. Since we are all married, have kids and real busy with our everyday lives it can be challenging to keep up with what is going on in every one's lives so it was so nice to have the chance to just talk and catch up. Last year the girls met up in Florida too but I had 1 week old twins and wasn't going anywhere. It is an annual event! I am already looking forward to next year! Two exciting announcements that were made at girls weekend is that Sheri and Lori are both expecting (just one)!!!! I was so hoping for twins for one of them. You see out of the 9 girls there, 3 of us have twins!!! Kim's are 3 1/2 year old girls and Stephanie's boys will be 2 two days after the girls. This will be Sheri's first and Lori's second!!!! They are 4 weeks apart! It will be so exciting for them to share this experience together. Sheri is due in February and Lori in March. We had a small surprise baby celebration for them both! Congrats girls!!! I am so excited for you both!
It was such a nice and relaxing weekend filled with lots of laugh and old memories while making new ones. These girls mean the world to me and so wish I could see them more often!! Love you girls!!!!

Girls Weekend is Good for the Soul
Last weekend 9 of us traveled from Houston, Dallas and Ohio to meet at our friend Sheri's amazing house in Ft Lauderdale for a 4 day 3 night getaway. It was the first time for me to be away from the girls that long and my trip started off a little crazy (of course, if you know me) because I missed my 6:30am flight. We had planned to all get there around the same time to all drive to the house together. Who knew that half of Austin would be at the airport at 5:45 in the morning. The lines were crazy long!!! So I sat around the airport for 4 hours waiting for my flight at 10:50 and began reading a book. I haven't read a book in forever. My goal was to finish the 500 page book by the end of the weekend and I did on the flight back! It was Smoke Screen by Sandra Brown. I love suspense thrillers.
(Going out to eat at Cafe Martorano's Holly, Brooke, Stephanie, Tiffany, Kelly, Kim (sitting) Sheri and Lori. Sheri didn't feel well so she didn't go Missing from the trip was Lisa, Lezley and Michelle. We missed you girls!!!!)
